The Adventures of Pete and Pete
Knowing, surreal children’s program equally popular with kids and rock fans. A product of the Nickelodeon cable network, Pete and Pete points a warped lens at the trivial (but compelling) travails of two brothers (both named Pete) and the adults who afflict them in the mystical suburban enclave of Wellsville. Originally a series of short segments in 1989, this whimsical show grew to half hour specials before acquiring a regular slot in November 1993.
