a good Valentine’s Day's Articles

Nothing says “I love you” like an omelet

Too often the requirements for a good Valentine’s Day eatery seem to be about style.

Pressured by the corporate pig media, today’s Valentine’s date-arrangers are conditioned to believe that unless the restaurant has an unintelligible French waiter, food that tastes like butter mixed with snot and a price tag that would suffice to clean up Hanford, then it is an insult to take your date there.

It’s about time to change this atrocious state of affairs.     Substance and quality – these are the twin virtues that make a cafe great, not an elitist atmosphere or foreign food. These are also the things that Valentine’s Day eateries should be judged by, instead of allowing those pretentious bastards at Hallmark to judge for you.
