Beauty queen Christina Aguilera incorporates dramatic, expressive eyes with pale lips and cheeks. “Christina likes her eyes to be the window to her soul,” says MAC makeup artist Nadine Luke. “Often, she emphasizes them with smoky shadow and liner and lets the rest of her makeup stay soft and subtle.”
To copy her look, choose an eye palette filled with rich wines and plums and stick to sheer pinks or apricots for the lips and cheeks. “And always make sure you’re armed with a good set of brushes,” says Luke. “The key to looking dramatic — and not melodramatic — is to blend these strong colors seamlessly.”
It’s a look, Luke warns, only for the brave of heart — or a playful night out on the town. “It says diva all over it.” Which you know is okay by Miss A.
